MORE THAN JUST A PLANT SALE…a celebration of everything green and growing.
After an absence of ten years, the Great Gidding plant sale is back! But, this year, you will not only be able to choose from a wide range of annuals, perennials, shrubs, vegetable and salad plants, there will be more, much more, for visitors to enjoy on a balmy (we hope!) early May evening.
- Gardeners’ Question Time session featuring Radio Cambridgeshire Gardening Expert, Tony Arnold
- Garden bric a brac and ornament stall
- Handmade plant supports and original barbecue metalwork from local craftsman, Ped Baker
- Children’s bird quiz
- Garden-themed raffle
- Demonstration of hanging basket and patio tub summer planting
……and still more! There’ll also be delicious food and a bar available throughout the event, to help your browsing!
Whether you’re a gardener or not, the evening promises something for everyone. So why not come along, bring the kids and enjoy a friendly and sociable get-together?

Plant sale proceeds will go to support the Great Gidding Jubilee Wood Projects, bringing interest and diversity to the lovely maturing wood we planted at the turn of the century.
