The latest letter from the Parish Council to Carolyn Wilson at Harlequin. Keep checking the website.
Please find attached the latest letter that I have sent to Harlequin regarding our engagement with them and the alternative options we have suggested.
Nicholas Hill, Chairman, Great and Little Gidding Parish Council.
Well done to our Parish Council for a well worded reply.
Please keep us updated and let us know what else we can do to help stop this being sited at the location they are proposing.
We support the company to provide us with a better technological answer to the dreadful rural reception in this area, which we assume will benefit all networks and not just one…. which we hope is the case? We rely on a good signal for work and this is embarrassing poor, when you try to explain it at work, they wonder what backwoods do we live in.
We recognise that all places develop, and change and this is maybe one change that the village may have to accept, if the benefits outweigh the impact, and no doubt there will be greater challenges in the future.
However if an acceptable new location site can be agreed, with the parish council that has less impact on the village centre then this will be good for all. So please keep pushing forward
